There are weeks that feel normal. And then there are weeks that feel like a fight.
This has been one of those weeks.
Between caring for my daughter after surgery and watching my sister face health challenges, I’ve felt like I’ve been holding my breath for days.
Trying to stay strong. Trying to stay steady. Trying to stay anchored. And yet… worry still found a way to sit in my chest.
Because storms don’t just disrupt your schedule. They disrupt your peace. They disrupt your ability to think clearly. They make you feel like you’re losing control over what matters most.
And if I know anything for sure today, it’s this: Storms don’t just reveal what you believe… they reveal what you reach for. And what you don’t have time to search for.
Because when life is loud, you don’t always have the capacity to study or find the “perfect” scripture.
Sometimes you’re in the middle of the storm…and you just need something that cuts through the clutter and brings you back to what’s true.
This is why reminders matter
This is why journals matter.
This is why devotionals matter.
This is why notes matter.
This is why The NoteShare tools matter.
Not because they make you “more spiritual.” But because they give you something to hold onto when your mind is crowded and your heart is heavy.
They give you a place to retreat. They give you a way to return. Because in a loud season, the question isn’t always, “Do I believe God?” The question becomes: Do I have quick access to what I believe when fear shows up?
And that is exactly what The NoteShare is.
A curated place to return to truth. A reset for real life. A reminder system that helps you reconnect with what God already said—especially when life is moving too fast for you to think clearly.
A reset I found when I returned to my notes
One of the scriptures I returned to this week—when my mind felt crowded and my emotions were loud—was Hebrews 12:2:
“Fixing our eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of our faith…”
And when I reread it, it hit me like a reset button. Because storms will tempt you to fix your eyes on everything else: the fear, the unknown, the timeline, the outcome.
But this verse reminded me what to do when life gets loud: Keep your eyes on Jesus.
Not because the storm isn’t real…but because your focus determines your strength.
When I went back through my notes from Pastor Keith Battle’s teaching, a few reminders stood out and helped bring me back:
-
Jesus is our prototype. People can inspire you, but Jesus is the only example who will never fail you.
-
Pressure builds perseverance. Trials develop endurance (Romans 5:3, James 1:2–4).
-
Run your race at your pace. Don’t compare. Just keep moving forward.
And that was my assignment this week.
Not to figure everything out. Not to control the outcome. Not to spiral.
Just to keep running. Keep focusing. And keep returning.
The NoteShare exists for all seasons…but especially loud ones
The NoteShare isn’t just for major storms. It’s also for the everyday loud moments: the anxiety at night, the overwhelm in the car, the heaviness in your chest when everyone needs something from you.
It’s for all seasons.
But especially the seasons where life is pulling you in every direction but straight. Because in those moments, you don’t need a long lesson. You need a quick reset. A short reminder. A truth that’s already within reach. And sometimes the most spiritual thing you can do is not pretend you’re fine…but return to what’s true.
With you on this journey,
Allene
